The Piggery is a lovely little hideaway attached to a cosy country pub with very good food. The only thing to be aware of is that it adjoins the car park, so it doesn't really have countryside views. The bed is extremely comfy and the shower is excellent. The hamlet is tiny and it's extremely quiet at night. If you're light sensitive, bring an eye mask or ask them in advance how to close the high velux blinds. They provide some breakfast ingredients (incl. yummy granola) as the pub is closed in the mornings.

Elizabeth’s place was perfect, the cottage was beautifully decorated and it was clear that no expense was spared with all the little details. Comfy bed and lovely bedding, lovely bathroom. Didn’t want to leave! The walks in the local area were fab and the Longs Arms served delicious food!!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The room was splendid, with deco and cleanliness spot on. There was even a little tub with essentials for our pup, what a lovely touch. We had booked in for a meal at the pub and the food was lush, with impeccable service. More importantly, Elizabeth was the hostest with the mostest, we were delayed and got to our meal late but she very kindly kept our reservation and put us at ease from the get go. We ordered a meal delivery the next evening and she went above and beyond, bringing it to us with proper crockery and cutlery to dine with! A lovely stay with brilliant hospitality, I would highly recommend this to anyone!

The Piggery was perfect! Just what we wanted for a special night away. We had everything we needed in our room and with The Long Arms pud next door so we didn’t need to worry about where to go to eat or have a cheeky afternoon drink. The room itself was warm and cosy. The bed was very comfortable, lovely toiletries used also. A simple but delicious breakfast was provided which we enjoyed greatly. We took our cocker spaniel with us and she was looked after very well also. They provided a doggie basket with treats, towel, bowl, poo bags etc etc and she enjoyed her time in the pub too. Lots of extra doggie treats. Definitely book a table for dinner in the pub, the food was delicious! All in all we enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be back to celebrate another special occasion at The Piggery and The Long Arms pub. And finally Elizabeth and the staff were all very helpful and cared enjoying our stay. Thank you 😊

Stylish, stunning & snug Airbnb with a homely cottage feel, admidst beautiful countryside! Elizabeth has thought of everything to make it a relaxing stay, including granola and milk for breakfast. The bed is very comfortable, the soap products wonderful, and the heated towel rack was a treat! We also ate at the Longs Arms which we highly recommend, a Michelin star restaurant with a wonderful ambiance.

We loved our stay at The Piggery. It is beautiful and very well presented. Parking is super close in the pub car park. We were suggested a lovely dog walk whilst checking in at the pub, and had a lovely meal there in the evening. Everyone was so friendly. Would totally recommend.
